Upcoming Plantings

Watch out for our Spring 2026 plantings.  A list will be published soon!

Each planting requires 20-40 volunteers per planting day.

  • Each re-greening event is planned on a weekend so volunteers are welcome to camp on the property or seek nearby accommodation.
  •  This is a great opportunity to have a weekend away in a country town and  help support local farmers by staying in accommodation, eating in  restaurants and doing some wonderful country shopping!

SATURDAY MAY 2 - OAK LEA, NEAR BATHURST

The Oak Lea property is a hobby farm, raising cattle and with a mixture of cleared paddocks and some remnant native bush.

Planters are welcome to park their camper vans or tents overnight on the weekend. The property is located within a short drive of Ben Chiefly dam and the historical village of Rockley. Beautiful setting and views.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19 - GRABBEN GULLEN

100 acres of pasture and bushland. The property is located at 600 Hawthornes Tree Road, Grabben Gullen (south of Crookwell), which is 1.5 hours from Canberra and 3.5 hours from Sydney.

750 trees will be planted.

SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER - SEVERN PARK, BERRIDALE

100 acres of pasture and bushland. The property is located at 600 Hawthornes Tree Road, Grabben Gullen (south of Crookwell), which is 1.5 hours from Canberra and 3.5 hours from Sydney.

You can choose as many plantings as you like by selecting each different event.

You  can come as an individual or part of a group. Friendships will be  formed along the way and there will be an opportunity to taste country  hospitality!

Please note that preference will be given to people who have adopted trees.  This will ensure that we build up our stock for future plantings.

Friday 20th March - Habitat Hops Trial planting

1800 Canyonleigh Rd, Canyonleigh

9 am to midday with morning tea provided

Friday 20th March

This is a special morning. We are going to be planting at a gold standard using water crystals, native plant fertiliser tablets, jute weed mats and Envy anti - transpirant. The aim is to establish two 'Habitat Hops' which have been designed to enhance plant survival and health in a challenging environment. We will also be planting 6 trees with normal spacing and configuration as a control. The plan is to monitor this trial to see if planting this way will improve plant survival rates.

There will be around 150 plants in total. We are looking for an additional 8 volunteers.
